Who is our farmer?

Mr. Cha is a Hmong farmer who was born in Laos and came to this country in 1979. He traces his ancestry back to Mongolia. He farms the Cha farm, which is 10 acres of land up in Fresno, and each week drives down to sell produce in Marin County on Thursdays and Montrose on Sundays. Like many Hmong farmers, Mr. Cha believes in sustainable farming and does not use pesticides or any chemicals.
