We are partnering with Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA) and Community Services Unlimited, Inc (CSU) to get fresh, organic produce to the Pilipino community in Historic Pilipinotown. Each week, over 10 community members sign up with SIPA to receive a CSA bag every Thursday. Because we found at least 10 people to sign up at one location, CSU offered to deliver the fresh produce directly to the SIPA offices. Are you interested in joining the SIPA CSA program? Email Scott Chan at schan@ssgapiopa.org.
Bags that can feed up to 2 people cost $12, and a larger bag is $24. CSU offers all different types of bags, including “on-the-go” packs, and diabetes-friendly packs. Check out what CSU has to offer here.
