Individualizing Treatment Plans for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes, a no-cost, clinical education webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, December 14, 2011, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.  The webinar will be led by Anne Peters, MD, CDE, Director of the USC Clinical Diabetes Program.

1. Review current guidelines and targets for diabetes treatment

 

2. Discuss the various factors that alter targets

 

3. Learn how socioeconomic status, ethnicity, education and other factors impact adherence and outcomes

 

4. Practice creating individualize targets and how to help patients achieve their goals
